Equii

Equii has announced a manufacturing and distribution partnership with Bridor, a French baking company, marking a significant step in elevating the quality and nutrition of bakery products. Equii will supply Bridor with its premium protein-packed yeast flour, an ingredient known for its complete protein profile, containing all nine essential amino acids. Bridor will utilize this flour to create a diverse range of baked goods, including dinner rolls, sandwich carriers, artisan loaves, sliced bread for sandwiches, French toast, and assorted offerings.

Charles Ross & Son Co. recently revealed the passing of Richard Ross, former president of Charles Ross & Son Company, on September 14. Ross was a visionary leader who played an instrumental role in shaping the company’s future and global success. Jaisen Kohmuench, Eriez president and CEO, has announced the appointment of Todd Loudin as vice president of global sales. Loudin will leverage his expertise to drive revenue growth and enhance Eriez's global market presence. With more than three decades of experience in international business and sales management, Loudin reportedly has a successful track record. He most recently held a senior executive position at Valmet, a global leader in flow control solutions, where he expanded market share and strengthened customer relationships.

Reading Bakery Systems (RBS), a manufacturer of baked snack production systems, has appointed Denise Siegle as chief financial officer. In her new role, Siegle will oversee all accounting and finance functions, lead the growth and development of the accounting team, and support the RBS leadership to achieve strategic and operational goals. 

Dawn Foods

Dawn Foods, a manufacturer and distributor of bakery ingredients, has announced the expansion of its Dawn Exceptional line of ready-to-use buttercreme-style icings. Following the release of Dawn Exceptional European Style Chocolate Buttercreme earlier this year, the company now offers a European Style White Buttercreme. Additionally, Dawn Foods has introduced 13 new colorful buttercreme style icings, providing bakers with an array of choices to create eye-catching treats.

Constantia Flexibles, purveyor of flexible packaging solutions, has announced its Supervisory Board has commenced plans for a CEO transition. Uwe Roehrhoff, member of the Supervisory Board of Constantia Flexibles, has over 30 years of experience in the industry and has played a key role in driving key initiatives for businesses that he led. His long-standing experience in the Constantia Flexibles Supervisory Board makes him well-suited to guide through the transition period. A new permanent CEO for the company has already been identified by the Constantia Flexibles’ Supervisory Board with an expected start in the beginning of 2025.

Syensqo

Syensqo is launching Riza, a 100% plant-based range of antioxidants and flavors derived from rosemary. The launch of this range follows Syensqo’s majority share acquisition of Moroccan rosemary extraction company Azerys, which took place in July 2024. Rosemary extract reportedly accounts for more than a third of total natural preservatives used in food, which has increased significantly in recent years, due to growing demand for natural ingredients driving food manufacturers to reformulate their recipes.
