SNAC INTERNATIONAL

ADM
The company has opened its Central Milling Laboratory at the Specialty Manufacturing Facility in Decatur, IL. The facility evaluates wheat performance in real-world applications. Each day, the lab mills, analyzes, and bakes approximately 30 loaves of bread to assess flour functionality and support wheat procurement decisions. Located near the North American headquarters, the facility enables collaboration among R&D staff and other teams.

KERRY
The company has launched its Smart Taste solutions to help food manufacturers navigate formulation challenges without compromising flavor. According to the firm, it integrates flavor development capabilities with food science expertise to support cleaner labels, cost efficiency, and regulatory compliance. The platform draws on portfolios in dairy taste, fire-cooked flavors, Tastesense for salt, sweetness and masking, cocoa, and citrus.

AUTOMATED FLEXIBLE CONVEYOR
The company has come out with a sanitary version of its tiltable AFC Spiralfeeder flexible screw conveyor. Designed for food, dairy, and other applications with limited space, the system features stainless steel construction with continuous welds. An enclosed auger screw transfers powders, pellets, and other dry bulk ingredients from an integrated hopper to discharge. It can be lowered for low-profile rolling to alternate locations.

INCREDO
The sweetener and sugar-reduction solutions company has named Aldo Uva as its new CEO and chair. Uva brings more than 35 years of leadership experience from several global consumer goods companies, including Ferrero, Nestlé, Sara Lee, Parmalat, and Firmenich. Most recently, he served as CEO of CSM, as well as COO and chief open innovation officer at Ferrero, where he reportedly led global innovation initiatives and delivered record growth.

VOLKMANN USA
The supplier has introduced the VFD 100 Vibratory Feeder Dosing System. Designed to integrate weighing, feeding, and dosing in one unit, the system feeds powders, pellets, granules, and other free-flowing bulk materials into mixers, extruders, etc. The feeder supports volumetric feeding and reportedly can be adjusted for loss-in-weight (LIW) dosing to deliver precise quantities, eliminating batch-to-batch variation due to human error.
