Bobby Douglas, associate editor, Packaging Strategies
Liz Parker, senior editor, Snack Food & Wholesale Bakery

Global Pouch Forum launched in 1997, with the foresight that the flexible pouch would become the predominate force in packaging. Now, after 27 years of expertise and innovation, it remains the go-to event to get the most up-to-date information from experts and network with leaders and innovators who develop, supply, buy, or recommend flexible materials, including pouches, films, and machinery.

This annual event is the gateway to current and emerging innovation in the flexible packaging market, including the ever-growing opportunities for using pouch packaging for food, beverage, personal care, beauty, household, healthcare, medical, and other consumer packaged goods (CPGs).
Head back to the beach and join global CPG producers, converters, and suppliers of materials, equipment, and technology in its new location—Clearwater, FL—to discover the future of packaging together. Plus, the Forum is returning to Florida this year, steps from Sand Key Park's nature trails and surf-ready beaches.
Learn from leading CPG executives
Education is a core aspect of Global Pouch Forum. Hear case studies and best practices on pouches that offer shelf appeal, innovation, functionality, and convenience, including Innovation Spotlight presentations featuring the available and commercialized solutions honored by the Flexible Packaging Association.

On Thursday, May 30 at 10:45 am, Heather Chandler, president, Sealstrip Corporation, will speak about US Waffle’s Jus-Rol Poffitz Club Pack with Sealstrip’s Seal Across Reaseal packaging, which aims to reduce food waste. The US Waffle club pack is the first to feature SealAcross, which includes patented TamperTear technology.
In addition, at 3:45 pm on May 30, Mohammed Nadeem, CEO, Paharpur 3P, will showcase Koochikoo’s Lovely Yellow Lemon, Lolly Pop Rainbow, and Cool Mint Treat candy, all of which are plant-based, vegan, and gluten-free. The company’s new packaging is reportedly a first in the candy industry, with the pouch design appearing to be matte corrugated sheet-like, even though it’s plastic laminate. The stand-up pouch feature also helps in better utilization of space in the market shelf display.
Connect with suppliers, service providers
The forum’s exhibition features suppliers of pouch and flexible packaging materials, machinery and components along with converters, technology developers, and contract service providers. Meet the industry’s leading providers offering the latest in technologies, innovations, and support.
