Through the years, SF&WB has become a primary industry resource for snack and bakery new product innovations. Our history goes back nearly as long as the commercial American snack and bakery industry itself, with publication starting in the early 1900s. And we’ve covered—and marveled at—the industry’s enduring legacy of innovation at every step along the way.

The “Best New Snack & Bakery Products” evaluation process is a joy to behold, reveling in the results of months—and sometimes years—of product conceptualization, experimentation, sampling, fine-tuning, branding, and finally commercialization and production. It’s humbling to behold the fruits of these labors, especially when it comes to products that deliver excellent quality metrics in specialized foods for the gluten-free, keto, and reduced-carbohydrate markets, as well as the range of delightful flavor profiles with the power to lock in brand fans at first bite.
