Tastykake brought back its themed, on-the-go packaging for football season. Products included Kickoff Cookies, Honey Buns, and Mini Donuts, in powdered sugar and frosted chocolate flavors. The doughnuts are available in multipack bags with a suggested retail price of $3.49.

In celebration of National Candy Month, HI-CHEW and The Doughnut Project teamed up for the third time to create a citrus treat for summer. The limited-edition doughnut, Kind of a Big Peel, is inspired by the latest HI-CHEW flavor, Juicy Blood Orange, from the new Infrusions Orchard Mix. The doughnut is topped with a glaze made of blood orange purée that mimics the fruit with a vibrant orange hue. The chewy center is infused with actual HI-CHEW Juicy Blood Orange pieces and blood orange curd filling, providing a burst of citrusy, fruity flavor with every bite.

Krispy Kreme transformed into “Krispy Skreme” for the Halloween season with an all-new Haunted House Collection. The Collection’s custom dozen box, featuring new Halloween-inspired doughnuts, was available for a limited time across the U.S. The Collection included a Spooky Spider Doughnut, Scaredy Cat Doughnut, Boo Batter Doughnut, and a Neon Orange Sprinkle Doughnut.

Dunkin’ released a suite of treats for Halloween, including its Dunk-o-Lantern Donut and Spider Donut. The fan-favorite Spider Donut included a yeast ring doughnut frosted with orange icing and topped with a chocolate MUNCHKINS doughnut hole treat resembles a spider, with chocolate drizzle for the spider legs and white drizzle for the eyes. In addition, the brand's Dunk-o-Lantern Donut featured a classic pumpkin-shaped doughnut shell filled with vanilla-flavored butter crème filling, topped with orange icing and a classic Jack-o'-lantern grin.
